10/2/24 – Membership – Tim, will cover later under old business. Old Business – Pheasant Release Schedule – Tim, I have copies of the schedule and will pass them around for input. We did decide not to hunt on any deer gun hunting days for safety reasons. Joe added we have a lot of deer hunters, and we are trying to keep everyone happy. In the past we have only not hunted pheasants the week of gun season. Since most people use straight wall cartridges in rifles, we have decided for safety purposes to make this change. We can also hunt pheasants longer in the season due to our new license.
9/19/24 – Board – Tim, everything is looking good. Ready to accept birds on 10/17. Will be finalizing the release schedule to present to the membership at next membership meeting.

3/21/24 – Board – Joe Tucker – No change here.
3/6/24 – Membership – There was a lot of discussion about birds. We are committed to purchasing 3,000 birds this year it is a 50/50 mix of hens and roosters. This is costing us $40,418.00. Delivery days are tentatively set for 10/15, 11/11, 11/26, and 12/19. The deliveries can be easily adjusted if needed. There was a question about what birds members are expected to release. It was agreed it is up to each member when you get your 2 birds to release you get what you want or what is available in the pen.
2/15/24 – Board – Tim Maust will continue to lead this area
2/7/24 – Membership – Tim Maust is looking at the cost of pheasants for next season. If we change our license, which will be discussed in new business, we can get more birds at a better cost per bird.
